Lament Together

There are so many sorrows right now, so much fear, uncertainty and pain. That’s why we wanted to open up a time and space to lament together. To cry out to God for ourselves and our world. To remember that God hears, cares, and is with us. So perhaps we could all feel less alone.

Somebody once said The Many is a band that really knows how to lament. We’re not sure it was meant as a compliment. But we took it as an affirmation. Because we believe there is something transformational in Lament. It’s something the writers of the Psalms did regularly. The prophets did too. It’s something Jesus encouraged us all to do too, blessing those who weep.
